Fall, 2018
Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to the Fall 2018 Edition of The Clarity Post™. This is always a favorite time of year for us here in Chicago, when the heat and humidity of summer yields to the crisp and refreshing sights and sounds of fall. While seasons change, the work of continuously enhancing patient safety and healthcare quality remains central to our work and that of our healthcare clients.
As always we remain committed to bringing you resources and education relevant to the real and emerging risk-quality-safety issues facing healthcare providers today. In this issue we highlight both the continued risks to quality care, and the ways to address those risks with personal and innovative strategies. Our Hot Topic is Home Care. As a rapidly emerging setting where care is delivered and monitored, special considerations must be given to how to address Risk-Quality-Safety outside the framework of a hospital setting while at the same time realizing its benefits. Our goal is to keep focused awareness on addressing gaps and risks in care delivery even as the concentric circles of how that care is delivered expand.
We appreciate you spending some time with us, and we hope you find this latest edition helpful and informative.
Regards,
Anna Marie Hajek
